REMARK: Recovery rate depends on refrigerant type,temperature and fitting size.MAIN PARTS INTRODUCTIONRECOVERY METHODS INTRODUCTIONRefrigerant recovery means that transfer the refrigerant from the refrigeration equipment to the repeatable filling cylinder by the special recovery unit. At present, there are three types most popular refrigerant recovery methods as following:
> Vapor Direct Recovery (Applicable to small refrigeration system)
> Vapor-fluid Direct Recovery (Applicable to small and medium refrigeration system)
> Pull/Push Combined Recovery (Applicable to medium and large refrigeration system)
Method 1: Vapor Direct Recovery
The refrigerant vapor in the recovered unit will be directly sucked into the compressor for compressing,and then happen liquidation in the condenser, finally filled into the cylinder. This recovery method is suitable for the small refrigeration system with fewer refrigerant charging capacity, the liquid state refrigerant in the recovered unit has to be evaporated into vapor state, then it can finish the complete recovery, so the recovery speed of this method is a little slower.
Method 2: Vapor-fluid Direct Recovery
The liquid state and vapor state refrigerant in the recovered unit is directly sucked by the oil-free compressor, during the discharging process, it will go through the condenser and then filled into the cylinder for storage. This recovery method is suitable for the small and medium refrigeration system, since the liquid state refrigerant no need to be evaporated into vapor state, the recovery speed can be faster than the vapor direct recovery method.
Method 3: Pull/Push Combined Recovery
Oil free compressor extracting the air in the receiving cylinder to reduce the inside pressure and temperature, the extracted air will be compressed and then discharged to the gas side in the recovered unit, this will cause the recovered unit inner pressure rise. Under the action of the pressure difference, the liquid in the recovered unit flows rapidly into the receiving cylinder. Whether the liquid is recovered or not during the recovery process can be observed through the liquid sight glass on the liquid pipeline. After the liquid is recovered, replace the pipe connection and recover the remaining gas refrigerant. The remaining refrigerant gas in the recovered unit is compressed directly into the compressor, liquefied in the condenser, and then pumped into the receiving cylinder for storage.
When the liquid is recovered, close the valve of the liquid pipeline and switch the reversing valve of the recovery machine to position B to recover the remaining gas. The remaining refrigerant gas in the recovered unit is compressed directly into the compressor, liquefied in the condenser, and then pumped into the receiving cylinder for storage. This recovery method is suitable for the medium and large refrigeration system, as long as the liquid pipeline is thick, the liquid will be quickly transferred to the receiving cylinder under the action of pressure difference, so the recovery speed is very fast.
WHAT IS OIL-FREE COMPRESSOR Fully Oil-free Type CompressorThe compressor that cylinder can move without lubricating oil is called oil-free type compressor, its moving parts is made of some special designed composite material with self-lubricating functions.
This kind of compressor has a wide applications in aerospace and other fields with high technical requirements, such as compressed oxygen, hydrogen and other flammable and explosive gases.
Especially for the ISO tank residual gas recovery field, since the recovered refrigerant gas is brand new and the lubricating oil pollution is not allowed, therefor oil-free type compressor is the best choice for the CFC, HCFC, HFC etc refrigerant recovery.
The oil type compressor used in the recovery unit is the one in the air conditioner and refrigerator, since the compressor has lubricating oil, so this kind of compressor can only used to recover the refrigeration equipment which has same lubricating oil.
If the lubricating oil model or kind is different, then it will happen that the refrigerant is polluted by different type oil.
In addition, it shall pay close attention to the oil loss of compressor during the recovery process and make up oil in time, to prevent the compressor damage which caused by oil lack.
The oil free type compressor doesn't have the oil pollution risk, so it's widely used for many kinds of refrigerants recovery and without any maintenance, it has been the main choice for the refrigerant recovery fields.
Semi Oil-free Type CompressorThe compressor that with oil in the crankcase but without oil in the cylinder moving part, this type is called semi-oil-free type compressor. We made the oil leakage testing by using this type compressor, and find oil in the recovered refrigerant too.
Even if the crankcase and cylinder are sealed well, the lubricating oil in the crankcase will still follow the connecting rod to the cylinder during operation process. In addition, the oil leakage that caused by the cylinder ring damage won't be controlled accurately, this situation will also make the secondary pollution of the refrigerant in the recovery process.
As a result, 100% oil insolation can't be guaranteed by the semi-oil-free type compressor either.All of our refrigerant recovery machine adopts self-developed oil-free compressor, no pollution to the refrigerants.
